Whatever the occasion..

We at Ndebele, would like to introduce you to the cuisine of Africa, its flavours, its textures, its rich colours and the sheer enjoyment of tasting food from a whole different continent! So take a journey through Africa from South to North and share some of the dishes, which we have gathered throughout the years in Edinburgh.

We are very flexible and will try and cater for a variety of culinary occasions, weddings, office catering and parties. We don't provide the deep fried or mass produced foods that can be found at other catering occasions. Most of our foods are organic, and where possible we use free trade ingredients. Foods are freshly made for each occasion.

We will, however, supply a totally traditional spread if required.

We will cater for a few as four and up to 200 people. We tend to design the menus according to specific tastes, i.e.: vegetarian, vegan, gluten free or halaal and these needs are to be discussed right at the start. Leave us to organise the cutlery, crockery, glass hire and the table linen. We can supply staff and will deliver the catering. Leave that to Ndebele…. If we have it, you got it!

All we need is a week’s notice and we will have your order delivered on time and suitably presented, depending on the event.

Outside Catering on a Grand Scale Weddings and South African Braais or BBQ's

We have catered for many satisfied corporate clients, from HEBS Scotland, CRE, DRC and Edinburgh City Council in various departments, to professional private functions. We have catered for weddings in Village Halls, the Assembly Rooms and private garden marquees. We will help design a menu tailored to a clients particular tastes and are prepared to design ‘bespoke’ menus for special occasions. We can assist with flowers, African Music, Djembe drummers, staff and African table adornments.
